Director, Retail Program Management

The Director, Retail Program Management, will lead the strategic planning, execution, and delivery of brand transformation projects across our client’s retail locations. This leadership role will oversee the Environments Program Management team and work cross-functionally to align programs with business goals while optimizing operations and customer experience.

 

Accountabilities

  • Lead and develop a team of program delivery professionals, responsible for multiple initiatives.
  • Define and execute strategies for retail program delivery, ensuring alignment with company goals and brand standards.
  • Partner with executive leadership to drive decision-making and alignment for retail construction programs.
  • Develop a robust program management framework to handle multiple, simultaneous projects across different regions.
  • Manage cross-functional communication and coordination among teams including design, procurement, and operations.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners (architects, contractors, vendors) to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Create project budgets and proposals.
  • Manage and develop accounts to broaden the breadth and depth of products and service offerings provided to the client by Adrenaline.

 

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for program delivery across the organization, regularly updating the Managing Director of Environments Services on progress and challenges.
  • Manage internal resources, assist in developing departmental roles, responsibilities, and career opportunities.
  • Serve as a sounding board for Program Managers acting as internal client advocate, providing balance to the design and implementation teams, and providing direction to cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of client projects.
  • Ensure subcontracts, purchase orders and change orders with suppliers and subcontractors are reviewed and approved by team.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal building codes, safety standards and company guidelines.
  • Identify and mitigate risks in projects, ensuring minimal disruption.
  • Establish and periodically measure key performance indicators (KPI) to govern the program delivery.

 

Qualifications

  • 10+ years professional experience, preferably in retail program development and implementation.
  • Understand and support the entire project lifecycle through implementation.
  • Competent in budgeting, scheduling, and quality control.
  • Proven leadership skills.
  • Knowledge of banking or retail industry experience a plus.
  • May be required to travel.
