Adrenaline leads change to drive brands and businesses ahead, and the Motion Designer is pivotal in the process. The ideal candidate is a specialized creative with expertise in motion design, and should excel in creating dynamic and polished work, estimating hours, and organizing workflow. The Motion Designer will collaborate closely with Producers, Writers, Designers, and Account Managers. Projects will include motion deliverables for video, web and social.

 

Accountabilities

• Produce on-brand digital creative, inclusive of short-form animation, static signage, and templates
• Collaborate with Producers, Designers, and Writers to translate requests into compelling creative through concepts, storyboards and final animation
• Demonstrate a clear understanding of each client’s brand guidelines
• Work closely with Producer to manage multiple small-scale projects simultaneously
• Communicate needs, progress, and roadblocks
• Present work to Adrenaline stakeholders
• Report to Senior Producer

 

Responsibilities

• Multitask and work effectively and efficiently to meet deadlines
• Consult with producer on budget, estimates, assets, and timelines
• Embrace feedback and take responsibility for details and deadlines
• Work collaboratively and cross-functionally with other agency departments (account, project, strategy, etc.)
• Maintain a great eye for detail inclusive of design and file management
• Regularly exercise independent judgement and discretion
• Actively contribute to building a positive culture
• Stay proactive, accountable, responsive, and adaptable
• Be willing to request or offer support as needed

 

Qualifications

• 5+ years of motion design experience
• Innate sense of composition, form, type, and motion principles
• Experience in digital, web, social video
• Knowledge of digital design principles, media, and production
• Proficiency in: After Effects, Adobe Creative Suite, Premiere Pro
• Experience in: Premiere Elements, Final Cut Pro
• 3D animation experience is a plus
